Trying to Find a Way Home
I am always trying to find a way home. That warm, safe space. The place where I belong. Where I could never overstay my welcome.
It’s dark outside, stormy and cold. Full of dangerous people, feelings and things.
When I can’t find the way, the fear of not being able to find the way seems to push me further and further away.
I can see it in the distance, warm light in the windows, but it’s just so far. How will I ever get there?
