The quest I didn’t fully understand was a quest when I set out on it.
There are so many parts that are pleasant. A pastel dreamscape.
But there are dark parts too. It has left marks on my body and reordered my brain. Made me a different person altogether.
I, and all of my past selves, are lost in this place there is no map for. Together with a tiny, less-regulated version of us, trying to figure out the never-ending way. Impossible to see what’s in front of us, and unable to perfectly recall the path behind.
