When I was pregnant, I felt so lost. I was uncomfortable, heavy (literally and figuratively) and stressed with no idea what the future held. I felt like I was walking through mud.
When you’re stuck in the bog, there’s no way of knowing what comes next. You’re in some muddy tall grass, and all you can see is what’s directly in front of you.
There was no rushing it, no way to see what lay ahead, and no way out. All I could do was trudge through the bog. Mired in my own anxiety around the uncertainty every step of the way.
